Ridgmont Lower School recognises the strong link between attainment and attendance and the important role parents play in ensuring that it is as high as possible. A child’s progress is impeded if they do not regularly attend school. Ridgmont Lower School has a duty of care to ensure that all parents/carers are made aware that a request to issue a penalty notice may be made in cases of unauthorised absences, including though not limited to, persistent lateness after the register is closed. Please refer to the Attendance Policy which can be found under the 'Policies' tab under 'Key Information'.
