Week ending 29th March- Enjoying the Spring sunshine!

Week ending 22nd March. This week we have sent home some more WOW slips. We love to hear about your child's achievements out of school, however small. We always share WOW moments with the class and put them on display for everyone to see. They also make an important contribution to our assessment of your child's development. We would particularly welcome WOW slips about your child's technology skills (smart phones, remote controls etc). We hope to see lots of WOW slips in school next week and look forward to celebrating every child's achievements!

Over the coming days and weeks Reception age children will be bringing home a reading book in a plastic wallet with an orange reading record book. Please make a comment in the reading record when you share the book with your child. The inside front cover of the reading books provide useful tips for helping your child. Initially, books will have no words, but as your child's sound and word knowledge develops they will get books with words and sentences. Please come and speak to us if you have any questions.
