We have had an author and
illustrator visit at school. Ronda and David Armitage came
into school to work with the children and tell them about their
work They have been writing children's' books for over 30 years
and the series of books about the Lighthouse keeper are firm
favourites with all the children.
The children worked on an amazing wall display before the visit,
which can be seen in the background and they had a fantastic
morning where Ronda encouraged them to explore their
imaginations to write a story and David beautifully illustrated
their ideas.
Friday 08 February 2008 -
the last day of half term was 'Mufty Day' when the staff were in
uniform and the children were not! All the children
thought it really funny when Mrs Clark spent the day telling the
teachers to tuck their shirts in.
